What it is for

  • Prostate Profile

    Why people check it

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, and PSA is one of the markers doctors look at. A high level does not mean cancer: ejaculation, an enlarged prostate or inflammation can raise it too, and a normal level is no guarantee either. That is why it is worth taking your results to a doctor you trust, such as your GP, and it helps most when it is checked regularly and compared over time.

Can be done at a collection point or with home collection on request.

  • Prostate Profile

    • Needing to urinate often, or getting up many times at night to go
    • Pain or burning when urinating
